Ambulances
For over 30 years McCoy Miller has followed a single philosophy, one of building the best ambulance available at the most reasonable price. Our growth is testimony to the high standards that McCoy Miller consistently maintains. That is what we mean by the statement, “The Tradition Continues!” Our reputation has steadily grown out of our commitment to integrity of materials and quality of construction. McCoy Miller meets the KKK-A-1822-F standards by monitoring all construction stages, assuring every ambulance meets the demanding standards of EMS operation today and tomorrow.
McCoy Miller has been in the business of constructing emergency medical vehicles for over 30 years. Modules have always been constructed at their own facility, using the best components. By producing 500 – 700 vehicles per year, McCoy Miller has become a leader in the industry. They take pride in constructing a vehicle that meets or exceeds all Federal KKK-A-1822F specifications for emergency vehicles. McCoy Miller offers state-of-the-art electrical systems which carry a 6 year/72,000 mile warranty and also provide $11,000,000 product liability insurance. They are leaders in the construction of module doors by offering an extruded door that is fully welded in such a fashion that no seams are visible, which prohibits dirt and moisture from collecting. These doors are stronger than any other door made by the competitors. The internal structure of the module is 2 x 2 tubing placed 12” on center. This is the same for the sides and top. The top 2 x 2’s extend into the extrusion, which places the tubing on top of each other for added reinforcement. The module box carries a 15-year/unlimited-mileage warranty while the paint warranty is 7 year/unlimited mileage and the conversion warranty is 4 year/48,000 miles. For more than 15 years, McCoy Miller has provided more efficient heating and cooling by utilizing a separate heater and air conditioner. This has been proven by independent testing laboratories.
